HISTORIC DISTRICT. Savannah's oldest bar, Churchill's is an English pub with a good selection of imported beer on tap and great pub food, like fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and bangers and mash. The fun, authentic atmosphere makes this a favorite with expats, locals, and tourists.

HISTORIC DISTRICT. Lady Chablis, the famous drag queen featured in "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," makes monthly appearance at this mostly gay dance club. Patrons party the night away on the club's main floor and enjoy dancing, pool, game machines, snacks and frozen drinks in the more intimate video bar. Cabaret shows Thursday-Sunday.

RIVERFRONT. Unmistakably Irish, this terrific pub feels right at home in its historic building. Beneath beamed ceilings and amid brick walls, art, and memorabilia, patrons treat themselves to cigars, single malt scotches, and great beers. The pub even has Guinness and Harp on tap, perfectly setting the authentic tone! Sit upstairs to view ships going by and to catch sight of passers-by on River Street. To keep the authenticity going, Kevin Barry's presents live Irish music nightly at 8:30pm.

HISTORIC DISTRICT. This small neighborhood bar is a good place to have a beer and engage in some conversation with friends. It's also a great place to unwind after a hard day at work or to kick back on the weekend. With its friendly, welcoming ambience, reasonable prices, and ample parking, it's no wonder that locals love it. N.B. If you haven't sampled one of their signature gin martinis served in a plastic cup, do yourself a favor and move quick!

RIVERFRONT. Rocksbury offers some of the best live music in Savannah, not to mention a different band six nights a week. Styles range from blues and jazz to R&B and Southern rock.
